Details

In the temporarily occupied Makiivka, in Donetsk region, the enemy military organized the “Air Patrol” competition, in the framework of which schoolchildren were taught to fly unmanned aerial vehicles.

The winner was a 10-year-old boy, which once again emphasizes the invaders’ efforts to attract young people to military activities.

This project is personally financed by the president of the terrorist country and is implemented in all schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The Kremlin uses these initiatives to create a generation of young people who can be used for military purposes in the future, in particular, as drone operators or even soldiers.

Such actions are a gross violation of international norms and children’s rights. The involvement of minors in military structures is a violation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international documents protecting the rights of children for a peaceful and safe future.
