According to the Ministry of Defense, the attack took place on January 11. The Russian agency accused Kyiv of allegedly trying to stop gas supplies to European countries by attacking the infrastructure of the Russian compressor station in the Krasnodar region.
“There were no casualties among the service personnel of the compressor station and no destruction. As a result of the falling fragments of one UAV, the building and equipment of the gas measuring station on the territory of the Ruska gas station suffered minor damage. According to the regular calculations of the emergency response of PJSC Gazprom, the consequences of the falling fragments were promptly eliminated, and the equipment was restored.” – said the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
