The Verkhovna Rada approved the draft law on the creation of the Unified State Register of Military Servicemen, which provides for the introduction of Military ID, People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko said on Telegram on Wednesday, he writes UNN.

“The Council approved the creation of the Unified State Register of Servicemen (No. 12066). “For” – 254,” Goncharenko wrote.

According to him, the bill envisages the following:

– a register is being created to modernize military records and introduce electronic services for military personnel and their families.

– a Military ID is assigned – a unique electronic identifier for automating data in the field of defense, obtaining benefits and social services.

– the register will be integrated with the electronic health care system to simplify the exchange of data on conscripts and reservists.

– the military will be able to get access to special discounts, loyalty programs and new services, in particular through the Army+ platform.

The information, as indicated by the people’s deputy, will be stored for 70 years.
