“From the west, they are trying to bypass the city from the west through small villages and plantations and try to pressure, interrupt our logistics chains. Our efforts are aimed at preventing this, since we have Pokrovsk itself, since we have this base from which we can to act. Their offensive is slowing down and we hope that it will eventually stop,” Tregubov said.
According to him, the Russians are trying to cling to any room, to any forest plantation in small groups and simply strengthen themselves there and create appropriate fire control in front of them.
“Our task in this situation is to destroy them. In the Pokrovsky direction, the intensity of clashes is comparable to all our other directions taken together. There are up to 70 clashes per day. Even if one group is destroyed, another group tries to take its place.”, – said Tregubov.
He noted that a small group is destroyed and another one is established in its place, and the same thing has been happening there for quite a long time.
“If earlier they went to Pokrovsk in this way, then now they reached the distance where they began to fly from the city itself and they realized that they could not go forward and began to try to bypass it. This is the situation as of now.” – said Tregubov.
