The Russian military, following the orders of its leadership, is trying to dislodge Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region and advance deep into the territory that Ukraine keeps under control. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi on Monday, he writes UNN.

Details

“I worked in units and units participating in combat operations in the Kursk direction. The importance of this operational area cannot be underestimated given the number of enemy troops concentrated there,” Syrskyi wrote in Telegram.

According to him, if it were not for the resilience of Ukrainian soldiers, these tens of thousands of enemies from the best Russian shock units would have stormed Ukrainian positions in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhiv or Toretsk directions, which would have significantly worsened the situation at the front.

“Now, following the order of their military leadership, they are trying to dislodge our troops and advance deep into the territory that we keep under control. Our task in this direction is to deter and destroy the enemy on his land,” said Sirskyi.

He emphasized that his work was devoted to providing assistance to commanders in the organization of combat operations, increasing the effectiveness of fire damage to the enemy, and solving issues of comprehensive provision and preparation of reserves.

Addition

Earlier, DeepStatepro reported that the enemy had launched a new wave of offensive actions in Kurshchyna.

On November 8, the spokesman of OTU “Siversk” Vadym Mysnyk stated that offensive assault actions by the enemy in the Kursk region did not stop. In some directions, the Russians are increasing or decreasing their assault operations. Now they have gathered their strength and are again trying to carry out assaults.

The New York Times reported that the Russian military formed a group of 50,000 people, including North Korean troops, to prepare an offensive to retake territory in the Kursk region.
