Russia attacked 11 communities of Sumy Oblast in a day

As of 9:00 p.m., September 16, 2024, Russian troops continue to terrorize the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, 48 shellings were recorded during the day, resulting in 73 explosions. The following communities came under fire: Mykolayivska, Yunakivska, Velikopysarivska, Khotynska, Vorozhbyanska, Krasnopilska, Bilopolska, Druzhbivska, Novoslobidska, Seredino-Budska and Shalyginska, reports UNN.

Details of shelling:

• Mykolaiv community: Russian troops carried out a guided air bomb attack, 1 explosion was recorded.
• Khotyn community: The enemy struck the KAB, 3 explosions were recorded.
• Bilopol community: The troops carried out anti-aircraft fire (1 explosion), mortar shelling (4 explosions) and artillery shelling (3 explosions).
• Krasnopil community: FPV drone strikes (2 explosions) and drone attacks (12 explosions) were carried out.
• Vorozhbyan community: Shahed kamikaze drone strikes caused 3 explosions.
• Friendship community: FPV drones carried out 2 explosions.
• Velykopysarivsk community: Russians struck with FPV drones (2 explosions), KAB (2 explosions) and artillery shelling (3 explosions).
• Sredino-Budsk community: FPV drone caused 2 explosions, and mortar shelling (4 explosions) was also recorded.
• Yunakiv community: KAB strikes were carried out, 11 explosions were recorded.
• Novoslobodsk community: Russian troops attacked the KAB, 5 explosions were recorded.
• Shalyginsk community: Artillery shelling (5 explosions) and mortar attacks (3 explosions).
