New pseudo-structures: how the Russian Federation tries to control the population of the temporarily occupied territories

The occupiers continue to form pseudo-structures in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in order to consolidate their control and integrate the captured territories into the Russian administrative and legal space. The Center of National Resistance writes about it, transmits UNN.

These pseudo-administrative structures chose a false strategy. They create the illusion of “care” for local residents, the so-called “interagency centers”, which perform the function of ensuring public access to public services, but according to Russian standards. At the same time, this is a way to impose the occupation agenda, replacing Ukrainian legal norms and standards with Russian ones.

The recent creation of the so-called “Commonwealth of Interdepartmental Centers of Donbas” became another example of such attempts

Such centers declare their work as “simplification” of receiving services and improving the level of service. In fact, they perform the function of deeper control over the population, because through these structures the occupiers collect data and introduce elements of their propaganda.
