“Given the current situation and the growing cooperation of the Russian Federation with China, Iran and the DPRK, Moscow may be ready to strike the Baltic states by 2030,” Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

He pointed out that “the key issue for the Russian Federation is the full restructuring of the economy for the war.”

“Sanctions, as well as large losses and the lack of great help from autocracies that are still trying not to fall under the economic “rink” of the West, as well as solving issues in the Middle East and other regions of the Global South, slow down Russian plans. But they do not cancel Russia’s ability to conduct proxy operations with “refugees and drone flights” against a NATO country,” Kovalenko noted.
