Ruslan Soroka is the driver of an armored car in the Zhytomyr border detachment. He does not know about the Russian occupation, atrocities of the enemy and the heroic resistance of Ukrainians. As soon as his native Kyiv region was released from the invaders, Ruslan immediately became the army. Soon the guy went to Donetsk region, where the hardest fighting was going on. However, according to the warrior, the most difficult stage for him was the fight against his own fear.

The history of the soldier was published on the page of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to Ruslan, his first days at the front were a huge test, but also an important stage in his life. “We got east, the guys who have been fighting since 2014, we said that they did not even see such baked. They could not imagine what would be like that, ”the fighter recalls. And although difficult trials were waiting for him at the front, the heaviest battle was inside him. “I do not know such a person who would not be scary. Everyone is scared, but the hardest thing is to overcome yourself, ”Ruslan notes.

During the occupation of his native village, in the Kyiv region, Ruslan saw in his own eyes the cruelty of the enemy: “I was in the occupation, I saw everything with my own eyes, as they shot our village father, as they shot for anything. This cannot be forgotten. ” He recalls how snipers were disguised on the outskirts of the village who fired on civilians without any reason. Such moments are remembered for life.

Ruslan also points out the importance of service for his family and villagers: “Almost all of us serve, even the elderly also in the army. I myself, sitting at home, rethink my role and place in our society, so I firmly decided to go to serve. ” He tells that it was not just a military duty, but also a way to repel those who try to destroy his country and the people.

The fighter, like many others, continues its struggle for peace and freedom of their home country, despite difficulties, fear and loss. It is people like Ruslan who become an example of unbreakable will and devotion to their people.

As reported by the Armyinform, Igor, with a call sign “Plut”, lived a full -scale invasion of a regular life – worked as a seller of equipment, repaired phones and made plans for the future. However, the war forced him to dramatically change his plans, and now he is the chief sergeant of the intelligence platoon and adjustment of shock unmanned aviation complexes in the 23rd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.
