The defense forces of Ukraine are restraining the advance of the Russian occupiers and are taking the necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. By this time, the number of combat clashes had increased to 122. This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, the communities of settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, such as Solyaniki, Khrinivka, Basivka, Zhuravka, Novenke, Oleksandria, Volfine, Obody and Timofiivka, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Kharkiv direction the enemy twice attacked the positions of our units in the area of Tykhi and Vovchansk, one attack was repulsed by our soldiers, the battle is currently ongoing. Enemy aircraft also attacked Granovo with aerial bombs.
On the Kupyansk direction Russian occupiers attacked the Defense Forces eight times in the districts of Novomlynsk, Kolisnykyvka, Kruglyakivka, Senkovo, and Lozova.
On the Lymansky direction during the day, the invading army carried out 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Druzhelyubivka, Grekivka, Novoyehorivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Torske, and Serebryanka, and three skirmishes continue to this day. Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly hold the defense and inflict losses on the enemy.
On the Kramatorsk direction Since the beginning of the day, units of the Defense Forces have repelled four attacks by Russian invaders near Chasovoy Yar and Stupochky.
On the Toretsky direction the aggressor made six attempts to advance in the districts of Diliivka, Toretsk and Shcherbinivka, one combat clash is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction the Russian invaders made 16 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promenya, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Dachensky, Pustinka, and Chumatsky. The defense forces restrained the onslaught and repelled 12 enemy attacks, four clashes are still ongoing.
In the direction of Kurakhiv the enemy army attacked 34 times near settlements such as Berestki, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dalnye, Romanivka, Elizavetivka, and Hanivka. Twenty-three attempts by the occupiers to advance have already been repulsed, and fighting continues.
In the direction of Vremivsk five enemy attacks continue near Trudovoy, Novosilka and Makarivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled eight attacks by the occupiers in this direction.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy once unsuccessfully tried to attack the positions of Ukrainian units.
The operation is in progress in the Kursk region. Enemy aviation continues to destroy their villages and cities. Since the beginning of the day, Russian planes have carried out 18 strikes, dropping 21 anti-aircraft missiles on their own territory. The defense forces repelled 12 attacks by the occupying forces of the Russian Federation in this direction today, the fighting continues.
There are no significant changes in the rest of the directions.
