Spokesman of OTU “Kharkiv” Colonel Vitaliy Sarantsev The command of the army of the Russian Federation cares more about equipment than personnel. The soldier is often used as a decoy to identify the positions and means of fire damage of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, which leads to sky-high levels of enemy casualties. Colonel Vitaly Sarantsev, the spokesman of Kharkiv OTU, told about this on the air of the national telethon “Yedini Novyni”.
Since the beginning of the offensive in Kharkiv Oblast in May, the occupiers have lost more than 16,000 soldiers.
— This is actually the population of a small regional center anywhere — whether in Russia or Ukraine. Of course, this is a lot, but the enemy does not count with his losses, he is not interested in the losses of his personnel. He prefers to keep equipment or some kind of weapons rather than to keep his own personnel, the spokesman said.
This attitude of the Russian command towards its own soldiers allows them to be used as bait or bait to detect firing positions of units of the Defense Forces.
– Very often people are sent by some incomprehensible assaults. People are very often sent on assault or offensive operations, using them simply as bait for the Defense Forces to start working on them. In this way, they try to find out our fire system and then inflict fire damage, he explained.
At the same time, those Russian soldiers who play the role of bait have practically no chance of survival.
– It should be noted that Russia has never won a war with military art or any experience. This is all the blood, flesh and life of our compatriots, – noted Vitaliy Sarantsev.
He thanked all defenders of Ukraine — representatives of all units and components of the Defense Forces — for effective combat work. The achieved result in the destruction of the enemy was achieved precisely by their joint concerted and coordinated efforts.
