Seven members of an organized group in the Kherson region were found guilty of aiding the aggressor state, and three of them were also found guilty of collaborative activities (Part 3 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2, Part 3 of Article 28, Part 6 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The verdict of the court of the so-called governor of the Kherson region, who at that time was the head of the Kherson occupation military-civilian administration, sentenced him to 15 years of imprisonment.
The other six members of the organized group were sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Prosecutors proved in court that the convicts went over to the side of the enemy in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson Region and actively assisted the occupation authorities of the Russian Federation in providing postal, logistical, financial and trade needs.
On the basis of integral property complexes of the Kherson Directorate of JSC “Ukrposhta”, they created and ensured the activity of a pseudo-structure – “state unitary enterprise “Kherson Post”.
The convicts campaigned for the employees of JSC “Ukrposhta” to get a job before the illegal establishment, assuring them that the Russian occupying power would be there forever.
As reported by ArmiyaInform, law enforcement officers detained a man from Odessa who was scouting the locations of Ukrainian military and defense enterprises in the region. The attacker was preparing coordinates for a new series of missile and drone strikes on Odesa.
