The mass use of scooters by the occupiers during assaults on our positions is recorded by the Defense Forces, both in Donetsk region and in the South. The video with the attack scooters was released on December 22 by the 12th special purpose brigade “Azov” of the National Guard.
“Over the past few months, the enemy has lost a significant amount of armored vehicles during massive assaults. Therefore, today Russians are resorting to mass use of cars, buggies and even electric scooters,” Azov reported.
During the battle, 5 units of armored vehicles, 8 units of motor vehicles were destroyed, 63 Russians were eliminated, as well as three abandoned electric scooters.
“Every day, the Russian infantry tries by any means to break through to the depths of the defense and gain a foothold in dilapidated buildings or basements, hide in landings,” Azov residents say.
“The enemy is trying to land on civilian vehicles, because they have problems with military equipment, because it is being destroyed. Therefore, they are forced to switch to the most popular form of transport, such as scooters or bicycles. There are even such cases in the Zaporizhzhia region,” Serhii Bratchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South”, told the ArmyTV stream.
