The intensity of shelling in Donetsk region has increased many times. As a result of the shelling, three people died, five more were injured. Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk OVA, told about this in the “Edyny Novyny” marathon.
More than 3 thousand shellings. The occupiers are shelling Donetsk region with all available types of weapons. Not only the front line, but also the rear cities – with ballistic and guided missiles, aerial bombs. The situation is particularly difficult in Ugledar.
He noted that on the approaches to Vugledar, our defenders burned a huge amount of enemy equipment. Separate Russian DRGs try to break into the city, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces destroy these groups.
“Unfortunately, the enemy has an advance. There are now about a hundred people in the city who do not want to leave at all. And it is very difficult to deliver humanitarian aid. The enemy is shelling all access roads with all available types of weapons — tanks, artillery, FPV drones,” Vadym Filashkin said.
The head of Donetsk OVA also touched on the situation in the city of Kurakhovo. According to him, 2.5 thousand people remain there now, and there are about 6 thousand people in the community. There are also few residents in Toretsk, where 1,500 people currently live. They leave very slowly: 1-2 people every few days.
“Now it is almost impossible to get into the city. Neither authorities nor police units. When possible, our guys try to support those people who remain in the city with drinking water, food and medical kits. The situation there is also very difficult,” noted the head of Donetsk OVA.
The enemy is trying to break through all directions of our defense. In particular, to Pokrovsk.
“There are now 15,000 people, 135 children, remaining in Pokrovsk. More than 30,000 people left in a month. The enemy destroyed almost all the bridges in Pokrovsk, there were three of them. Now it is completely shelling all evacuation roads. Half of the city remains without electricity and gas supply,” Vadim Filashkin concluded.
As previously reported by ArmyInform, two children were injured as a result of shelling in Donetsk region.
