The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Alexander Sirsky, held a working meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom Sweden, Lieutenant General Mikael Classon, who is visiting Ukraine. This is stated in a message on the Facebook page of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
“It is symbolic that our flags are the same colors, we are brought together by the experience of joint confrontation between Muscovy since the beginning of the eighteenth century, and now there is a complete understanding between our countries about cooperation to reflect large -scale Russian aggression against Ukraine,” Alexander Sirsky emphasized.
The Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces in conversation with a Swedish colleague shared his vision of the situation on the line of fighting, which stretched almost 1200 km.
The aggressor has an advantage in personnel, certain types of weapons and military equipment and carry out daily attacks with drones and missiles. However, Russia pays an expensive price for advancement for each meter of Ukrainian land – about 1,500 people killed and injured daily.
Lieutenant General Michael Classon assured that Swedish assistance to Ukraine is unwavering, and it will continue, despite the challenges, to strengthen the defensive capabilities of Ukraine and the development of our MIC.
“He led her sincere gratitude to the Swedish people for the consistent support of Ukraine, its increase and acceleration according to the plan for 2024-2026. It was a pleasure to hear from General Classen a high appreciation of the Kursk offensive operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, ”said Alexander Syrsky.
He also demonstrated a video of the video about the role in this operation of self-propelled artillery installations Archer and BMP CV-90, provided by Sweden. Our soldiers highly appreciate the qualities of the Archer SAU and call it “guns”.
Sweden’s Commander -in -Chief of Sweden thanked for the opportunity to take over the experience of our army in reflecting Russian aggression. He also assured that he received a good feedback to help improve Swedish weapons and improve military equipment.
The conversation raised the topic of international support of Ukraine, cooperation with NATO and European allies, including a new member of the Alliance – Sweden.

We are waiting for a hard work, but we have to go through this path and win.
