The perpetrator of the murder of a soldier in the Holosiiv district of Kyiv was sentenced to 13 years in prison. This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
With the support of a public accusation by the prosecutors of the Holosiiv District Prosecutor’s Office, the man was found guilty of premeditated murder and sentenced to 13 years in prison (part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Two other participants in the incident were found guilty of hooliganism and were sentenced to 3 years in prison each.
The incident occurred on October 21, 2022, on Akademik Glushkov Avenue, when a dispute arose between the driver of a Hyundai (military) car and a Lexus driver regarding the right of way.
During the conflict, Lexus passengers beat the Hyundai driver, and his driver shot a soldier. The victim died on the spot from his injuries, and the perpetrators left the scene.
As reported by ArmiyaInform, the Kharkiv paliya of Ukrainian defenders’ cars was detained.
