Ukraine plans to produce several million drones by 2025. First of all, so that Russia does not have the opportunity to lead in this component. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov on the air of the telethon “Edyny Novyni”.
The head of the defense department noted that even this year our country will purchase more than a million drones. Rustem Umyerov estimated his own production at several million.
“For our part, we did not say how many drones we can produce. But it is several million. Of which some things are financed by the state budget, some money we find from partners. That is, our capacity is several million drones, we are able to do it. Next year, we will not let the enemy bypass us, so we will already produce several times more,” said the Minister of Defense.
As ArmiyaInform reported, for the first time Ukrainian companies will be able to participate in tenders of the Drone Coalition.
