Colonels of the medical service Eduard Khoroshun and Serhiy Shipilov received the Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine for outstanding scientific work in the field of medicine. The corresponding decree is posted on the website of the head of state.
Eduard Khoroshun — head of the hospital, Hero of Ukraine, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
Sergey Shipilov — the leading surgeon of the hospital, candidate of medical sciences.
They became co-authors of the scientific work “Multimodal technologies in thoraco-abdominal surgery in the conditions of modern war”. A total of eight authors from different medical institutions worked on the work.
The work is devoted to the implementation of the latest technologies in the treatment of patients in the extremely difficult conditions of modern war. The award committee noted her innovation, especially in anesthesiological and surgical care, which made it possible to significantly improve the results of treatment.
This is an important recognition of the contribution of Ukrainian doctors to the development of science and medicine during the war.
