Ternopil Oblast is the leader in the number of women among candidates for the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine who have applied to recruiting centers — 48% of all applicants in the region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Chernivtsi (44%) and Chernihiv (39%) regions follow. On average, the share of women among all candidates through recruiting centers is 19% across the country.
The recruiting centers of the Ukrainian army offer more than 10,000 vacancies in various military formations: the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Service and the SBU.
Consulting services are provided on the principle of confidentiality. Summons are not distributed in recruiting centers.
