In June 2024, a new public space called “Choice” opened in Lviv, which is aimed at providing psychological and moral support to military personnel and their families. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The main goal of the project is to create conditions for the psychological recovery of soldiers participating in hostilities against Russian aggression, and to help their loved ones.
The initiative was made possible thanks to the cooperation of several organizations: the Home of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the charity fund “Foundation for the Support of Medicine for the Military”, the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the Crisis Psychological Service of Lviv and other benefactors from Ukraine and abroad.
The “Choice” space is adapted to the modern needs of the military and provides a creative approach to their psychological recovery, spiritual and cultural development, as well as integration into peaceful life.
Meetings with chaplains, famous personalities, medical experts, representatives of culture and art are organized here.
“Choice” has become a meeting place for veterans, volunteers and students, where everyone can find support, recover morally, overcome life’s difficulties and find inspiration for future achievements and victories.
As reported by ArmiyaInform, the command of the Khortytsya Armed Forces Command within the framework of the program of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Saving the Life and Health of Servicemen” has implemented the “Circle of Protection” project, which involves the psychological rehabilitation of military personnel.
