The Ministry of Defense codified and approved for use the portable simulator “Safe Sky” for the training of anti-aircraft fire groups. This is stated in a message on the website of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The device is integrated into the weapons used by anti-aircraft fighters.
“Using the simulator does not require the consumption of ammunition. The calculations of enemy air target hunters can conduct training anywhere,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
During training, the program gives hints. There is also a mode of accepting credits and calculating points at each intermediate stage of training. So the instructor will be able to objectively assess the skills of the student.
