The German parliament approved the decision to allocate an additional 400 million euros for military support to Ukraine. This was reported by the spokesman of the German government, Steffen Gebestreit.
“This will allow for the purchase of additional air defense equipment, tanks, drones, ammunition and spare parts, which will effectively strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the defense of their country,” the spokesman said.
In addition, Germany will provide an additional 170 million euros in the short term to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
As ArmiyaInform reported, the USA announced the provision of defense aid to Ukraine in the total amount of $7.9 billion.
At the same time, Great Britain has announced its intention to accelerate the provision of necessary military support to Ukraine, and the new government intends to exceed its promise to supply 12 AS90 self-propelled artillery systems.
