The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to prepare Russian Suja for cold weather. There, our fighters are restoring the city’s critical infrastructure, which is constantly being shelled and destroyed by their own Russian army. Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, the spokesman of the commandant’s office of the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union in Suja, told about this on the air of the national telethon “Yedini Novyni”.
— The commandant’s office tries to help people in all their problems. In particular, they are provided with water, bread, and food products, he said.
The Ukrainian military is also trying to improve the supply of water to local residents.
— There was an attempt to establish a water supply, but due to constant shelling by anti-aircraft guns and the constant operation of FPV drones, the generator in the city of Suja also failed. Therefore, it is impossible today. A water tower was also hit, and at the moment water supply has been stopped in Suja, the spokesman said.
Instead, in another settlement, the name of which the military did not disclose for security reasons, a generator is working and water is being supplied to local residents.
In addition, preparations are underway for the heating season — the Armed Forces of Ukraine provide the residents of Kurshchyna with boilers.
— As for winter, today we deliver warm things to populated areas. People are very worried because most of them have gas heating, they don’t have stove heating. We are trying, we are looking for an opportunity to provide for the people who remained in the territories controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the so-called bourgeois, – said Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi.
Ukraine strictly adheres to the Geneva Conventions, it takes responsibility for providing for the population in the controlled territories.
Earlier, ArmiyaInform reported that Russians are erasing their own villages from the face of the earth in Kurshchyna, as a result of which some residents of the Kursk region have become “enlightened” about Russian propaganda, which considers them traitors.
