A Lviv blogger and pseudo-activist was suspected of leaking data on the location of the Armed Forces. Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved. This was reported to the SBU, reports UNN.

According to sources UNNit is about Ostap Stakhiv.

As the SBU pointed out, he had previously been suspected of attempting to seize state power in Ukraine.

A few months before the start of a full-scale war, the blogger incited people to organize mass riots and seize state institutions under the guise of the “anti-vaccination movement.”

While in the accused status during the full-scale intrusion, he distributed destructive content through his social media accounts.

He claimed that Russian armed aggression was allegedly caused by “third countries” that “provoked” Moscow to a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Also, during one of his live broadcasts on social networks, the person involved publicly announced the exact location of one of the units of the Ukrainian defenders, thereby exposing them to danger

In addition, he organized online “journalism” courses, where, among other things, he taught his followers to counter the mobilization in Ukraine. The cost of the courses was UAH 7,000 per student.

After completing his studies, the blogger promised his clients an international journalist certificate. However, instead of the promised documents, he gave the “graduates” fictitious certificates of a local newspaper, which lost its accreditation in the spring of this year.

Mobile phones and other physical evidence of criminal activity were found during searches of the suspect’s residence.

Currently, the perpetrator has been notified of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  • Part 2 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the deployment of the Armed Forces, committed under martial law);
  • part 1 and part 2 of Art. 190 (fraud).

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.

An investigation is underway to bring to justice all persons involved in subversive activities against Ukraine.

Earlier UNN reported that the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are conducting a search of a pseudo-activist from Lviv on suspicion of issuing fake identity cards for a journalist. According to sources UNNit was about Ostap Stakhiv.
