In Sumy Oblast, 9 “shaheeds” were shot down, 15 explosions occurred during the night from enemy shelling

In the Sumy region, 9 enemy attack drones of the “Shahed” type were shot down at night. 15 explosions were recorded from 11 shelling of the region by Russian troops, including a rocket attack on the Khotyn community, an attack by a “shaheed” on the Sumy community, Sumy OVA reported on Tuesday in Telegram, writes UNN.

“Tonight, September 24, anti-aircraft guns of the Sumy Oblast shot down 9 enemy Shaheds,” OVA reported.

It is noted that during the night and morning, the Russians carried out 11 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region. 15 explosions were recorded.

As indicated, the Sumy, Khota, Bilopol, Velikopysariv, Rychkiv, Shalygin, and Shostky communities were shelled:

• Bilopolsk community: the launch of the nuclear power plant (1 explosion) was carried out.
• Velikopysarov community: the enemy fired mortars (4 explosions), using an FPV drone (1 explosion).
• Shostky community: shelling with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (3 explosions) was recorded.
• Sumy community: bombardment was carried out using “Shaheed” type UAV (1 explosion).
• Shalyginsk community: there was shelling using an FPV drone (1 explosion).
• Khotynsk community: a rocket attack (1 explosion) and an anti-aircraft missile launch (1 explosion) were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation.
• Rychkivska hromad: there was a launch of the KAB (3 explosions).
