In 2024, Ukrzaliznytsia evacuated over 30,000 Ukrainians

More than 30,000 passengers were evacuated by Ukrzaliznytsia in 2024. A significant proportion of them are the most vulnerable groups, passengers with disabilities, the elderly, passengers with children, animals and other social categories. This is reported by “Ukrzaliznytsia”, writes UNN.

During the year, railway workers evacuated people from Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Kherson Oblast, Donetsk Oblast (in particular from Pokrovsk), Zaporizhzhia and Pavlograd.

Ukrzaliznytsia, in cooperation with local military-civilian administrations, continues the evacuation process in 2025, organizing flights from Sumy Oblast, Kherson Oblast, Zaporizhzhia and Pavlograd, where passengers are delivered from the entire region, including from the nearest settlements of Donetsk Oblast,

It is reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, almost 4,200,000 passengers have left for safer regions.
