Hackers noted that rosregistr (federal service of state registration, cadastre and cartography) is a critical resource in terms of real estate registration, cadastre management and cartographic activities.
They merged into the network a small part, approximately 90 million lines from the single state register of real estate objects. The total amount of downloaded information is about 2 billion lines.
The database, which is now online, contains the full names of Russians, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, passport data and other personal information.
According to hackers, rosregistry became a vivid example of how large state structures can collapse in a matter of days.
As a result, their data, seemingly securely protected, ended up in our collection. If previously Rosregistr was associated with bureaucratic chaos, now the name of this structure has become a symbol of digital transparency – but not in the sense in which Russians expected it
According to them, having hacked the Russian registry, they “congratulated Russians with the beginning of the New Year.” In addition, Silent Crow announced the next “Christmas gift”.
In the meantime, the Rosregister refused to confirm the leak of data from the Unified State Register of Real Estate Objects (USRE).
“Additional checks of the information published in a number of Telegram channels are currently underway,” they said.
