GUR launched a new way to report enemy equipment via Viber

From now on, it is possible to notify the Main Directorate of Intelligence about the movement of equipment of the occupiers, as well as the military of the Russian Federation, in the Viber application. This was reported by the press service of the GUR UNN.

“Communication with the GUR is now also available to Viber users. For more than two years of operation of the main intelligence bot, Ukraine has received thousands of appeals from concerned citizens in the occupation and on the territory of the Russian Federation, which helped to destroy tons of enemy equipment and Russian occupiers,” – reported in the GUR .

It is noted that the Viber version has implemented technologies that guarantee the safety of users.

“Our priority is the safety of informants. Before the public launch of the bot, we thoroughly tested it and made sure that enemy special services will not be able to access either the correspondence or the data of the user who applies to the GUR of the Ministry of Defense,” said Andriy Yusov, a representative of the GUR.

He added that Ukrainian intelligence continues to successfully use chatbots to gather information.

“We are interested in information about the movement of the military leadership of the invaders, the military-technical developments of the aggressor state of Russia. Sometimes even a small piece of information can be decisive,” Yusov added.

GUR MO warned about at least 8 fake chatbots imitating the official Ukrainian intelligence bot. Ukrainians are urged to be careful and use only official channels of communication with the GUR.
