According to the President, despite the limited number of F-16 fighters that Ukraine currently has, their effectiveness in combating Russian air threats is high.
“How are the F-16s doing today? Very good. For the most part, excellent. We have very few F-16s. What are they doing now? They shot down seven cruise missiles two nights ago. Seven missiles that went over infrastructure, civilian infrastructure.”

The Netherlands has officially said goodbye to the F-16 after 45 years of service. The last 14 fighters will be transferred to Ukraine, and 18 are used to train Ukrainian pilots in Romania.
