Khmelnytsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian NPPs during the Russian missile and drone attack on Thursday morning preemptively reduced their power, and one of the power units of the Rivne plant was disconnected from the network. For the second time in less than two weeks, the Khmelnytsky, Rivne, and South Ukrainian nuclear power plants have reduced their power levels as a precautionary measure amid large-scale hostilities in the country. In total, there are nine reactors at the operating nuclear power plants, all of which have reduced capacity. One RAPP reactor was also disconnected from the network,

At the same time, it is said that the nuclear power plants continued to receive external electricity, despite the fact that Khao NPP lost connection to two of its power transmission lines.

At the same time, the agency indicates that there were no reports of direct damage to the nuclear power plant, but Ukraine reported that the strikes again affected electrical substations, which are used by the plants both to transmit and to receive electricity for their own needs.
