Since the beginning of the year, police officers have recorded 341 cases of setting fire to military vehicles, in 219 cases suspicion has already been raised. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine — Chief of the Criminal Police Andriy Nebytov on the air of the Suspilne TV channel, reports UNN.

Andriy Nebytov noted that since the beginning of 2024, the number of military vehicles set on fire has increased compared to 2023.

If we take individual cases of setting fire to the cars of military personnel, then as of today we have recorded 341 such crimes. Of course, a greater number of them occurred in the spring-summer of this year, but due to the preventive and investigative measures taken and the arrests of certain participants in these crimes, such cases were significantly reduced. In 219 cases, investigators reported suspicion and a total of 184 persons were brought to criminal responsibility for committing these crimes on the territory of Ukraine
