The FSB reported the detention and arrest of a German citizen. The statement says that a Russian-speaking citizen of Germany Mykola Viktorovych Haiduk, born in 1967, who lives in Hamburg, was detained. He is suspected of involvement “in March 2024 detonation using an improvised explosive device of a pipe of a low-pressure gas distribution station in Kaliningrad.”
It is reported that Hajduk was detained while entering the territory of the Kaliningrad region from Poland. According to the special service, he came to Russia “to organize sabotage activities at energy facilities.” It is also stated that he was transporting 0.5 kg of liquid explosives in the car.
