The occupiers carried out 7 attacks in the Kupian direction, trying to seize the districts of Dvorichny, Pishchany, Kolisnikivka and Lozova. Andriy Rubtsov, an officer of the communications department of the 116th separate mechanized brigade, told about this on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.

The enemy attacked both with infantry groups and with the involvement of armored vehicles.

Recently, the Ukrainian military destroyed an enemy column advancing towards Kupyansk. The convoy, which consisted of a tank, three BMPs and an MTLB, was stopped thanks to the coordinated work of the units, and the equipment was either completely destroyed or seriously damaged.

Rubtsov also said that the Russians use anti-aircraft missiles both on the contact line and for strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Kupyansk.

In addition, the Russians do not give up the desire to cross the Oskil River, but their attempts are unsuccessful.

“We have a lot of shots of damage to ordinary inflatable boats, which they use in small infantry groups to try to cross this river. This is one of the common ways,” said Rubtsov.
