The leaders of the USA, Germany, France, Canada, Great Britain, Italy and Japan, on the initiative of Prime Minister Georgia Maloney, who heads the G7 of Italy, adopted a joint statement of support for Ukraine.
“We, the leaders of the G7 countries, confirm our strong support for Ukraine, which we will continue to provide as long as necessary. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty, freedom, independence, territorial integrity and recovery. We also recognize the impact of Russian aggression on people around the world,” the joint statement said.
“After a thousand days of war, we recognize the immense suffering experienced by the Ukrainian people. Despite these difficulties, Ukrainians have shown exceptional resilience and determination in protecting their land, their culture and their people. Russia remains the only obstacle on the way to a just and strong world.
