The situation on the front line remains tense. The defense forces of Ukraine are making maximum efforts to disrupt the offensive actions of the Russian troops, causing losses in their personnel and equipment.
Since the beginning of the day, 152 combat clashes have taken place. Most of the battles were recorded in the Siverskyi, Kurakhivskyi, Pokrovskyi and Vremivskyi directions.
Enemy artillery and mortars shelled communities in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, including Bleshnya, Porozok and Slavhorod.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to put pressure on Ukrainian units near Visoka Yaruga, in Vovchansk and the Tykhoi area, carrying out nine assaults, one of which is ongoing. Baranivka and Shopine were hit by airstrikes.
In the Kupian direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops four times near Zagryzovy and Lozova, where three skirmishes are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian army carried out seven attacks near Novoyehorivka, Grekivka, Terni, Tverdokhlibovo and Nadia, one clash is still ongoing.
Ukrainian defenders repulsed ten attacks in the Siverskyi direction, 14 more clashes are ongoing in the districts of Bilogorivka, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Ivano-Daryivka, and Vyimka. Siversk was hit by airstrikes.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked three times near Chasovoy Yar and Stupochky, and in the Toretsk direction, seven attacks were recorded near Toretsk and Shcherbinivka, two of which have already been repulsed. The settlement of Krymske was hit by airstrikes.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the occupiers carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Lysivka, Dachensky, Zeleny, Pischany and Novoolenivka. Ukrainian troops repelled 13 of them, seven more clashes are ongoing.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy attacked 23 times near Stary Terni, Sontsivka, Zora, Kurakhovo and Uspenivka. 15 attacks were repelled, the fighting continues.
In the Vremivsk direction, 13 combat encounters were recorded, 12 enemy assaults were repelled.
The occupiers are shelling civilian infrastructure in the Orihiv direction.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy tried twice to storm, but without success.
An operation is underway in the Kursk region: the enemy is being hit by its own aircraft and artillery. In total, Ukrainian forces have repelled 11 attacks, battles are ongoing in 17 locations.
