On the night of November 8, 2024, the enemy struck with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region, four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Belgorod region, 92 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from the direction of Kursk , Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel – Russian Federation, Chauda – Crimea.

This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy tactical aviation struck the Kharkiv region and Sumy region with guided air bombs.

The air attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 9:00 a.m., four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 62 enemy UAVs were shot down in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

26 enemy drones were lost in various regions of Ukraine. One is in the airspace of Ukraine. Combat work continues!

As a result of the nighttime Russian attack, there were casualties and damage to the houses and property of civilians in Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Khmelnytskyi regions.
