Air Force: shot down 6 missiles, 16 UAVs and 24 lost in location

On the night of December 31, 2024 (from 8:30 p.m. on December 30), the enemy used 61 means of air attack.

This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For another air attack, the enemy used:

  • 6 “Iskander-M”/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Region;
  • 1 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missile from the MiG-31K fighter from the airspace of the Tula region.
  • 6 Kh-69 guided air missiles from tactical aircraft from the airspace of the Belgorod Region;
  • 8 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft from the airspace of the Tula Region;
  • 40 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type and unmanned simulators of other types from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk, Millerovo – Russian Federation.

As a result of combat work by units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, the following was shot down:

  • 1 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missile;
  • 5 Kh-69 guided air missiles;
  • 16 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type, another 24 simulator drones of various types were lost in location (without negative consequences)

As a result of the Russian attack, there are ballistic hits in Sumy region and Kyiv region.

We remind you that 168 combat clashes were recorded during the past 24 hours.
