Former head coach of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane decided on the team in which he will continue his coaching career. This was reported by the authoritative Spanish publication AS.

The legendary ex-footballer will lead the French national team after the World Cup, which will be held in 2026. In this position, Zinedine will replace the current coach Didier Deschamps.

According to the source, Zidane is not going to return to Real Madrid, where he worked until June 2021. The specialist maintains a warm relationship with the president of the royal club, but he is not interested in the option of being appointed to the position of coach of the “Cream”.

Current France coach Deschamps is set to move to the Saudi Arabian Championship – the specialist has several options to continue in the job, so he intends to carefully study all offers.
