Zelenskyy posthumously awarded orders to two journalists

On the Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy posthumously awarded orders to French journalist Antony Lallican and Ukrainian photographer Kostyantyn Huzenka. On the Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy posthumously awarded orders to French journalist Antony Lallican and Ukrainian photographer Kostyantyn Huzenka.

The award was given “for a significant personal contribution to the development of television, radio broadcasting and communication in Ukraine, high professionalism and dedication, demonstrated during the coverage of the events of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, many years of conscientious work.”

The Order of Merit III degree was posthumously awarded to:

  • French journalist of the “Hans Lucas” agency Antony Lallican.

  • Ukrainian photographer Kostyantyn Huzenko.

  • Employees of the TV channel “Freedom” are journalist Olena Gubanova and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin.

State awards were also received by:

  • Journalist Oleksandr Kolychev and Kyiv Independent photographer Hryhoriy Ivanchenko were seriously injured by Russian drones.

  • Photographer of the “Telegraph” publication Yan Dobronosov (Order “For Merit” III degree).

  • Radio presenter of “Radio ROKS” Nataliya Sotnyk (Order of Princess Olga III degree).

Former President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed decrees on awarding 301 Ukrainian soldiers with state awards. Servicemen from various brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including five Heroes of Ukraine, received gratitude for the protection of the Motherland.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded 697 servicemen of the National Guard, the National Police and the State Emergency Service. Among them, 127 received distinctions posthumously .
