Zelensky announced that he held a meeting today with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Finance Minister of Ukraine Marchenko, and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada.
“We discussed the main parameters of the state budget for next year, our financial readiness both for this December and for next year. And we agreed that tomorrow I will sign the law on the state budget for next year – immediately after the law comes from the Verkhovna Rada. The main thing – all financial needs of Ukraine for the near future and for the next year are guaranteed,” Zelenskyi said during a video address.

The Prime Minister announced that the laws on the state budget for 2025 and on changes to the tax code will be signed in the coming days and will come into force on December 1.
He also reminded that 60% of the expenditures of the state budget-2025 fall on the security and defense sector.
