Details: Zelensky said that despite Orban’s wishes, no one will stop Ukraine’s movement towards Europe.

“The Russians failed. It seems to him that if it happens half a year later or for another period, that it will stop Ukraine? No,” he stressed.

At the same time, Zelensky noted that Ukraine has nothing against Hungary and its people, but cannot remain silent when the leadership of a neighboring country helps Russian propaganda.

“We are not doing anything against the Hungarian people and we are grateful to them. We are not doing anything against the Hungarian leader, but we cannot be diplomats when such things are said about us or we help Russia with rhetoric, diplomacy or other steps. We defend our dignity, freedom and independence,” the Ukrainian president added.

It should be noted that earlier Zelenskyi said that Ukraine should not to compromise his values for the sake of Hungary’s position on the country’s accession to the European Union, and emphasized that Budapest’s blocking of the path to the EU actually supports Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, it became known that the EU is ready to launch a new way of bypassing the Hungarian veto – “frontloading”.
