This number roughly corresponds to the size of the entire French army, which, according to estimates by the French Ministry of Defense in 2020, was just over 200,000.
Zelensky stated that at least this number of troops will be needed as a guarantee of security, if the number of Russian troops is 1.5 million people, and Ukraine has only half of this number.
The President also noted that such a force would be only part of the security guarantees needed by Ukraine.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of January, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that the introduction of foreign peacekeeping troops is one of the best tools to force the Russian Federation to peace.
“We all understand that today Putin’s goals remain unchanged. He wants to completely destroy Ukraine – and break all of us, and you too.
