“Today, the powers of a significant part of the supervisory boards of the main state energy companies will be terminated: Centerenergo, GTS Operator, Market Operator, Ukrainian Distribution Networks, Energy Company of Ukraine. New members of the supervisory boards should be appointed already in December according to a clear, fair procedure,” he wrote in a telegram.
Zelenskyi also announced that he instructed the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal to carry out an immediate reboot of the supervisory boards in the defense sector as well – “the management and control of internal processes in companies takes place through the supervisory boards, and this should be ensured 100 percent.”

Against the backdrop of NABU’s investigation into Energoatom, Svyridenko announced a “comprehensive decision” regarding all state-owned companies, including energy companies.
On November 10, NABU announced the disclosure of the activities of a criminal organization, the main focus of which was “systematic obtaining of illegal benefits from Energoatom’s counterparties in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of contracts.”
In this case, eight persons were notified of suspicion in this case. “Schemes” published a complete list. Among the participants in the case are the co-founder of the studio “Kvartal-95” Timur Mindich (code name “Carlson” on NABU tapes), ex-advisor to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”), executive director of security of “Energoatom” Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”) and four more “employees” of the so-called “back office for legalization of funds”: among them Oleksandr Zukerman (“Sugarman”), Ihor Fursenko (“Ryoshik”), Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina.
One of the suspects – Oleksandr Tsukerman (“Sugarman”) called the accusations of NABU and SAP “lies” and promised to return to Ukraine. Timur Mindich did not comment on the case. The NSDC imposed sanctions on both of them.
