President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a speech at a high-level UN General Assembly Week in New York, urged Europe to strengthen Moldova’s assistance against Russia’s attempts to involve the country in its sphere of influence.

Zelensky noted that Moldova is again forced to defend himself from Russian intervention, and the reaction of the world community is now “insufficient”.

He recalled that Europe has already lost Georgia after the 2008 war, and Belarus has long been moving towards Russia.

The President emphasized: “For Europe, the support of Moldova’s stability is not expensive – but its absence would be much more expensive. The EU should help Moldova now – funding and energy support, not just in words or political gestures. “

Recall that Moldova can become a bridgehead for the invasion of Russians into the Odessa region.

Moldova also raids on suspicion of financing the political party from the Russian Federation.
