According to the Head of State, the key issues of negotiation with partners were ideas voiced during his recent conversation with US President Donald Trump. Zelensky emphasized the importance of engaging America in the peace process.
“We are talking to partners about the next meetings with the Russians-direct negotiations to which Ukraine is absolutely ready, and in any format that will result. I am grateful to everyone who helps us, ”he said.
The President emphasized that the United States can have a decisive influence on the Kremlin’s position: “It is America who are afraid of Russia, and the United States can affect Putin’s Russian dictator.”
Zelensky also assured that Ukraine would remain open to a dialogue that would contribute to a fair peace.
Recall that US President Donald Trump during a telephone conversation with European leaders and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said he opposed new sanctions on Russia.
