Zelensky: The US should cancel the visas of people’s deputies that do not support the subsoil agreement

President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his hope that the US Mining Agreement will be ratified in the Verkhovna Rada, and those who do not support it should lose US visas.

Details: According to the ratification of the subsoil agreement, the deputies will vote “not only for the sake of the future, but for the sake of preserving what we need today”, referring to the support of the United States.

“There are people not set up to do so. For example, I think the US should just cancel their visas,” Zelensky suggested.

Without naming specific names, the President spoke about the deputies who “come to the United States on a monthly basis” and tell about the bad situation in Ukraine and “which parts of Ukraine are important, which are not very important”.

“After they pass the corridors of congressmen or senators, they say that they are friends from the USA, brethren forever, and then they return to Ukraine and do not vote for what is fundamentally for America,” Zelensky said.

“The result will be on the scoreboard: who voted and who is not. You cannot play a double game,” the head of state summed up.

On the eve of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal expressed expectations that the Verkhovna Rada ratifies the signed agreement on Nadra from the United States until May 8.

It should be noted that “technical” agreements have not been formed, not signed, not signed, and not published, without which it is impossible to draw conclusions about the feasibility of ratification and the long -term consequences of the agreement for Ukraine.
