The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed draft law No. 11417, which provides for an increase in the budget this year by UAH 500 billion for defense needs. Thus, the total volume of expenditures will reach a record 3.73 trillion hryvnias, which is 2.3 times more than before the start of a full-scale war.

According to the new legislation, the expenditure part of the budget will be adjusted and the funds will be directed to the restoration of infrastructure and support of the security sector.
