President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said he intends to raise the issue of a new defense pack for Ukraine during a future meeting with US President Donald Trump.
He said this at a joint press conference with the Austrian Federal President Alexander van der Belllen.
“In fact, one of the issues I will discuss with President Trump at the meeting –– the defensive package that Ukraine is ready to buy. And we will talk to him. I am sure that we will have this opportunity, ”Zelensky said.
He added that today Ukraine receives only the military assistance that was agreed by the administration of Joe Biden, and there are no new decisions on support.
Earlier, Presidential Office Andriy Yermak reported that Vladimir Zelensky is expecting a number of important international meetings. Among the key topics is to strengthen Ukraine’s support in military, economic and sanctions.
