President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that a coordination group was created on the American side to prepare a future meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

According to Zelensky, after the conversation of President Trump with Putin, it was agreed that the United States Coordination Group will consist of US Secretary of State Mark Rubio, Special Representative Donald Trump Steve Witcoff and US Vice -President Jay Venus. The President of Ukraine stressed that his country seeks complete transparency in this matter. “We do not want any shadows, we want to coordinate with Americans,” Zelensky said.
The Head of State stressed that Ukraine is extremely important for Ukraine and support for European leaders in these processes. He called it a “real historical moment” when European politicians immediately changed their plans and gathered in Washington exclusively for the sake of Ukraine, which, he said, testifies to the unprecedented level of relations.
Zelensky also mentioned the format of future meetings. His logic was to obtain an understanding of the security architecture for 7-10 days, after which a tripartite meeting could be held. According to Zelensky, President Trump proposed a different sequence – first a bilateral meeting, and then, if it is successful, tripartite. However, now the parties have agreed to focus on the formation of security guarantees that, according to Zelensky, received political support.
