On the night of October 10, Russian troops struck a combined blow to the territory of Ukraine. The Russian military has intensified firing of Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure in recent weeks, which provides people with gas during the heating season.

In August, the Ministry of Energy reported that since March 2025, the Russian forces made more than 2,900 attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
